Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Stephanie Kolar, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). My private practice is located in Ashburn, Virginia. Let me start by saying, life isn’t easy. We all face challenges whether related to the past, present or future that we’re coping with everyday. Challenges with work, relationships, families, friends, partners, children, siblings, and even ourselves. More often than not it’s challenging enough just getting through the day let alone trying to solve our problems alone. I’m here to help. I provide a safe and non-judgmental environment. I offer help, support and practical tools to improve your quality of life and your relationships.
I simply felt like I was unable to control my life. With the uncertainty of work and the busyness of family, there was no time for me. I began to suffer from panic attacks and anxiety that left me feeling helpless. My doctors said they couldn’t find anything wrong with me and referred me to Stephanie. I never thought about seeking help from a counselor but I’m glad I did. She has helped me confirm that I am going to be okay. That there are ways to organize my life and provide more time for me. I now deal with my stress better. I just feel better. I can’t say enough good things about the help Stephanie has provided me. Thank you!
